    You need to enable User1 to sign in as [email protected]. OR
    You need a list of groups to which User1 is either a direct member or an indirect member.
    To me this question makes no sense

    No, without adding alternative upn suffixes to the forest, you cannot change the user’s login UPN.

    1. Solution: From Active Directory Domains and Trusts, you configure an alternative UPN suffix.
      From Active Directory Administrative Center, you configure the User UPN logon property of User1.
