  1. What are these guys smoking ? it is the secondary IPs that can be unlimited. We are talking about primary IPs here.

  2. that q not true because an interface can have just one primary ip address or in other word,only one private or public address with other option such as Gateway,DNS, and so on
    however in microsoft OS in the network address configuration mode,there is one option. at during time that the original address field or to each reasons the primary ip address not working, then automatically ip address changed to alternatively option.

  3. Why there are so many wrong answers
    Even the article says An interface can have one primary IP address and multiple secondary addresses.
