  1. How to verify TACACS+ connectivity to a device?

You successfully log in to the device by using the local credentials.
You connect to the device using SSH and receive the login prompt.
You successfully log in to the device by using ACS credentials.
You connect via console port and receive the login prompt.

    Answer: B

  2. In fact, I just google it and found a different set of options: A was wrong worded leaving answer C as the right one
    _
    A.
You successfully log in to the device by using the local credentials.

    B.
You connect to the device using SSH and receive the login prompt.

    C.
You successfully log in to the device by using ACS credentials.

    D.
You connect via console port and receive the login prompt.

  3. This question must be worded wrong. Both A and C seems to be correct. Actually sort of the same answer. SSH to router and login | login to the device using ASC password. By sshing to a Router and login using ACS credentials, means that the router queried ACS through Tacacs+ for you to be able to receive login prompt. so A is also right ig – so the actual question could be worded in another way.

  4. Another weird question to me.
My understanding: TACACS+ is a secure protocol to access ACS (Access Control Server), which could run e.g. on Windows
    Therefore “A” is wrong
There was a similar question before asking to verify TACACS+ connectivity to ACS, where among the answers was also a tricky one: successful login to ACS , which proofs the connectivity and also working credentials.
But the correct answer was – SSH to ACS to get the login prompt. This proofs the connectivity and this was the whole question about.

This question is weird/incomplete to me. If I have to deail with it I would choose “C”
