  1. I do not understand why A or B as the scrum teams should have been self organized from start, why would the Scrum Master “allow” them to self organize themselves? Id rather say the scrum master, as facilitator inform the management so they find a meeting solution if the dev team ask for it: D.

  2. The correct answer IS A !!! No problem here in the answer suggested

    A. Allow the Development Team to self-manage and determine for itself what to do.

Why any-one would imagine that it could be B, I don’t know. The Scrum Master NEVER “tells” the development team how to organize itself …..

    1. Question: The Development Team meets in a variety of meeting rooms and has much to do logistically (for example, set up conference calls)

Actually; to reduce complexity, daily scrum is held at the same time at the same place.

So why isnt B the right answer; if the Scrum Master knows A is adding complexity to their work?

I agree with that the dev’s are self-managing, but till a certain standard right?
For example: Would you accept if they skipped the daily some days? Because they are self-managing?

    1. Yes Roman, I have taken the exam, had this question (scored 100%) and the answer proposed is the correct one. The correct answer IS A !!!

      A. Allow the Development Team to self-manage and determine for itself what to do.

Why any-one would imagine that it could be B, I don’t know. The Scrum Master NEVER “tells” the development team how to organize itself …..

  3. A in itself is a bit problematic because this is a clear impediment that SM should be aiding in resolving. B for me is the better answer rather than A even though B is not 100% what it should be as well as pointed out by comment from MK.

  4. While the SM is a servant leader and absolutely should help coordinate and facilitate with the Dev team, the second part of the statement is what is problematic “tell the Development Team that is how it will be done”. The SM will never dictate to the Dev team, and never impede upon its ability to self-organize.

    1. It is a management position, not in a traditional way. SM doesn’t “manage the team” but he/she manage the Scrum framework adoption. So SM should in a management position to be able to manage any impediment
