  1. I think required information is missing. Switch might be connected via different interfaces to router(like fa0/0, fa0/1, fa0/3).
    There is no information about VLAN numbers. If VLAN numbers were more than 4 or 8, we could guess that we’d need subinterfaces on router. Because, there are max 8 LAN interfaces on routers usually.
