  1. I still think answer B is correct. The question is not about the antenna, but about the radio. Yes, gain as a property for an antenna just describes how the energy is focused in a defined direction (and less focused in other directions). An Antenna is a passive device, but it still impacts the RF signal and focuses it into a specified area. But this better RF coverage in certain areas comes at a cost. The antenna then, does not cover other areas that a theroretically isotropic antenna would. But a radio is an active device. If you increase the “antenna gain” (bad word, better use power) on a radio, you add output energy that translates into a larger cell from the antenna point of view. Hope i could explain that in an understandable way. The question is very unclearly written, though. Think this is from someones memory that got multiple questions mixed up.
