Refer to Exhibit. R1 is unable to ping interface S0/0 of R2.
What is the issue the configuration that is shown here?
A. The route-target configuration command is missing.
B. The interface IP addresses are not in the same subnet.
C. the syntax of the ping command is wrong.
D. The default route configuration is missing.
E. The serial interfaces belong to the global table instead of vrf Yellow.
Answer E:
There are no interface in the customer vrf
Off course the good answer is E
the ping shown is realised on vrf yellow not globally
so serial interfaces are expected to be in vrf yellow
D cannot be a good response, they had not mentioned that the route has to point on global RIB.
Even if they mentioned this, they have to mention that it is missed on both routers.
E is right. The “ip vrf forwarding Yellow” is clearly missing from the interface configuration.
D is wrong because you don’t need a default gateway to ping a directly connected interface.
