You create a Storage Spaces Direct hyper-converged failover cluster. The cluster contains three nodes and a 1-TB Storage Spaces Direct volume.
The cluster will store virtual machines.
You plan to extend the volume by adding an additional 3 TB.
What is the minimum amount of extra disk capacity required to accommodate extending the volume?
A. 3TB on the coordinator node
B. 3 TB per node
C. 4 TB per node
D. 4 TB on the coordinator node
B
A is correct
see bellow link

Answer B?
In a cluster with 3 servers, the default disk layout is 3-way mirror. That means a 3TB increase should cost you 9TB footprint increase, or 3TB per node. If you just add 3TB hard drive, you won’t get an additional 3TB in your S2D volume.
Is this the correct answer can someone explain
