You have a deployment of System Center Configuration Manager (Current Branch).
You currently deploy all Windows updates by using Configuration Manager.
You pilot the deployment of Click-to-Run for Office 365 and discover that clients are downloading updates for Office 365 from the Internet.
You need to manage the updates for Click-to-Run for Office 365.

  1. What both of you gentleman are forgetting, is the fact that you have just enabled the management if you read the article that you are referring to. Point no.4 in the article, refers to deploying the package, but some how you guys missed that part, or never even clicked on the link.

    Answer C is the correct one, as you have not created a package to deploy, if you only do what the article says. Creating a package to deploy, is the next step…..

    1. The answer is D – Creating a deployment package doesn’t mean you manage the clients. If they are pulling updates from the internet then they are not being managed by SCCM( for Office 365 updates). The question asked how to manage updates for the Click to run the office for the client. Until you change the client settings they will always point to the internet even if you deploy the package to them.
