  1. The correct answer is C. The fact that you’re booting from a vhdx is a red herring. You don’t need virtualization to boot from a vhdx. The real question is how to disable virtualization support, meaning don’t let the hypervisor start. Use bcdedit to disable the automatic start of the Hyper-V hypervisor:

    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
