In preparation for a customer presentation, you need to be able to propose a solution that estimates power and weight requirements, and appropriate levels of power and cooling. You also need to determine weight-related requirements to install the solution in the data center.
What should you use?
A. HPE Synergy Planning Tool
B. HPE Server Memory Configurator
C. HPE Proposal Web
D. HPE Power Advisor
I thought it was HPE Power Advisor too but in reading the official HPE training guide the wording for the Synergy Planning tool description is basically word for word of the requirements in the question. So the answer appears to be A.
It doesn’t matter if the tool is being retired or is retired either, just that it was correct when the exam was written.
Exactly, i think answer is A
BUUUUTTTTT, in de question didn’t say SYNERGY in the solution, so the answer need to be D 🙂
The answer has to be D – Power Advisor.
It does indeed estimate weight, and also cooling requirements. It even creates a report for power cost and CTO over a period of time if you put in the correct data.
Furthermore, the Synergy Planning Tool is for Synergy solutions, and nothing in the presumption tells which solution customer will buy. Finally, the Synergy Planning Tool has been closed down.

This is correct as it estimates power and weight requirements, and appropriate levels of power and cooling.
Answer is D.
I believe the answer is also A
“The Synergy Planning Tool is designed to guide proper system configuration, slotting, power and weight information for a Synergy Solution”
Power advisor only estimates power consumption, i do not believe it does anything to do with weight

Yes it estimates power and weight requirements. It also includes all info in the report.
A
