You have a deployment of System Center Configuration Manager (Current Branch).
You have the collections shown in the following table.
You create a new collection that has the following configurations:
Collection name: Collection4
Limiting collection: Collection1
Include Collections rule: Collection2
Exclude Collections rule: Collection3
What will Collection4 contain?
A. Computer1, Computer2, and Computer3 only
B. Computer1, Computer4, and Computer6 only
C. Computer1 only
D. Computer1, Computer2, Computer3, Computer4, and Computer6
I knew this was wrong. Thanks guys. This is why I have trust issues.
The given answer is 100% wrong.
The answer is C
100% answer is C I’ll explain why:
1) Limited Collection is Collection1, therefore it will only target Computer1, Computer2 and Computer3
2) Anytime there is a exclude it takes precedence, Computer2 is automatically excluded
3) To include Collection2, Only Computer1 exists in the Limited Collection of Computer1
There will only be Computer1 left. If you have a lab you can do this same test and you will get the result.
100% – C. Computer1 only
I would say this is “C – Computer1 only” not D – the reference suggest the same?
