  1. Sorry, I didn’t read that the deployment was at the WAN level.
    To minimize bandwidth consumption on these links, Cisco recommends the use of the G.729 codec for all MoH audio streams traversing the WAN.

  2. I think the answer is A.
    Cisco Unified SRST multicast MOH supports only G.711, and MOH from an SRST router cannot be unicast.
    CUCME supports only G.711 for MOH.
    phones receiving MOH in a system using G.729 require transcoding between G.711 and G.729
    the g.729 codec was designed to accommodate human voice, not more complex sound instruments.
