This would mean that all ports have switchport enabled and you would simply want to guarantee that the port remains an access port permanently. The correct answer is B.

  2. The port should be an access port. What you don’t want is for that port to become a trunk link if you accidentally connect it to another switch. “Switchport mode access” sets it as static access.

    The command “Switchport” is already in place as this makes the port layer 2. “no switchport” makes the port a routed port.

    Obviously the port cannot be a trunk port.
