  1. No, ClearPass is the NAC in this solution and acts as the RADIUS server for all NADs (Controllers in this case).
    After authentication by ClearPass, roles with VLANs within WLAN will be setup by the controllers.

    1. However, the controllers aren’t responsible for “globally defining” these VLANs. There’s only one component that would do that which is ClearPass.

      ArubaOS 8 now supports the Mobi lity Master architecture. The MM can push full configurations down to managed devices. This includes L2 and L3 settings, such as VLAN, interf ace and IP routing configuration.
