An administrator replaced a faulty IP phone with a new one by replacing the hardware and editing the phone MAC address in the device configuration in Cisco Unified Communications Manager. When the administrator saves the configuration, the new phone does not register. Which factor will cause this issue?
A. The subscriber the phone is registered to may have database replication issues
B. The administrator does not have full access privileges in Cisco Unified Communications Manager
C. The administrator must edit the new phone MAC address under the Phone Enterprise settings page
D. The Cisco Unified Communications Manager needs to be enabled autoregistration
Sounds like the only logical answer to me. Sometimes you’re asked to delete a phone entirely and add it back in with registration issues cause of Database replication. Decide for yourself.
