  1. Visitors will setup their own IP from instruction paper hanging on the wall that also contains the SSID. So, no over head on management.
    Answer is 100%:
    A. Enable SSID broadcasting to identify the guest network
    B. Configure visitor devices to use static IP addresses

  2. this question is insane. public guest network are usually open, there’s no need for security configuration since the question goes to minimum overhead. But option B putting IP on every single device, please that’s a lot. If i had to choose I will go with A & D because setting a global passwd is easier than putting static ips

  3. I would agree with Dino San in terms of “Unless you want to sit there all day everyday and enter visitors IP addresses manually B does not make any sense then”. You could get people from CompTIA to do this for you which would in fact would be a “minimum overhead”.

  4. I would suggest A & D.

Guest network absolutely as you want to segregate the visitors from the corporate network.

D because you want some sort of security and not leave the Guest network completely open.

B is a silly answer, setting static IP’s on EVERY guest device is an awful lot of extra work!

  5. I would disregard this question. Answer A wouldn’t be typical for CompTia as they always recommend disable broadcast of guest accounts. Also, Answer B as Jay stated would be considered maximum overload configuration for the tech (not minimum).

  6. A & D are the correct answers. You want your guests to be able to identify the correct Wi-Fi network and use a secure login which would be WPA2. Unless you want to sit there all day everyday and enter visitors IP addresses manually B does not make any sense then.
