  1. I think Comptia is trying to trick the test taker by leaving out critical information in the question. The only way that the answer PaaS makes sense is if the critical application belongs to the company, not the 3rd party vender. So the company created the application and turned it over to a 3rd party to host and administer so they (the company) would not have to do it. Please forgive me if my logic is flawed but to me, that is the only way that answer makes any sense.

    When you are not using no software of yours, allowing Vendor to supply the software, then you need a SaaS.
    If you were going to use your software on their platform, then it would’ve been PaaS
    I think the answer should’ve been A as well.

  3. Sounds like answer is A because question says host and administer but with COMPTIA you never know…..

    1. BJCO is correct. However, the question specifically states that the third-party vendor is responsible for hosting and *administering* the application itself, not just the platform on which it’s built.
