  1. For the computer input device, see graphics tablet. For other uses, see tablet.
“Tablet PC” redirects here. For the class of Microsoft Windows-based tablets, see Microsoft Tablet PC.
“Convertible (computer)” redirects here. For the IBM computer of this name, see IBM PC Convertible.

So if those tablets are Windows TPM is the answer. And Remote Wiping.

    A D

  2. I think A and D are correct. Look at the requirements the school laid out.
#1 – maintain privacy IN CASE OF LOSS. A is the only option that can enforce this privacy by remotely wiping private data in case it gets lost/stolen. An attacker can still access the DATA, with some help from tools, on a tablet even if it’s geofenced.
TPM takes care of the rest.

  3. And why not A, B ?
Remote wipe for data privacy & compliance with disability requirement (which FDE does not cover)

  4. I would go with B and E.
B would meet requirement “Have a theft detection control in place”, when someone goes out of the library site.
E would meet requirement “Maintain privacy of students in case of loss”, to avoid data of lost devices being recovered.

    1. I agree, B and E .. “A” could be reasonable too, but “E” better cover the privacy requirement.
