  1. for me this question is wrong. A Network Printer is a printer with it’s own NIC (LAN or WIFI) so it’s directly attached to the network and not (USB) connected and shared by a PC.

    So for me a real network printer, not a local and than shared, can be used from anyone in the network without limit on machine switched on
