  1. Simples!
    1. laptop drivers are an option to update so that’s easy so A is the correct and true answer
    2. using a second laptop works fine but is dim so adjust the contrast so B.
    3. modifying the screen resolution would help reduce the strain on the CPU also so assist in removing artifacts so F could strictly be an answer also.
correct and true answers are A and B and F only as all others are irrelevant
choosing two I would go for the best two being
    A and F.

This resolves the issues experienced in both cases!

  2. The question says: “When a different laptop is connected to the projector, the image appears to be correct.”
So the image is in focus and doesn’t need (B) an adjustment to the contrast or (D) a change to the aspect ratio.
The problem is 1) the original laptop displays artifacts – so need to update its drivers — and 2) the image appears very dim – so need a new bulb.
A – update the video drivers
    E – replace the bulb

      1. I’m thinking A and B. As it was dim using another laptop the FIRST thing to do is increase contrast. if that doesnt work then change bulb

    1. Idt its the bulb, since it didn’t mention it was dim with the first laptop. if it was the bulb, the first laptop should have been dim also display artifacts.. NO?
