Table of Acronyms
Refer to the exhibit.
A network administrator plans QoS for an interface that connects to a server Converged Network Adapter (CNA). The administrator configures a weight of 4 for priority 0 traffic and 6 for priority 3 traffic. The administrator checks the configuration and enters the command shown in the exhibit.
Assume that the CNA will transmit only traffic that is assigned priority 0 or priority 3. Which percentage of bandwidth is each queue guaranteed?
A. priority 0=11%; priority 3= 89%
B. priority 0 = 11%; priority 3 = 17%
C. priority 0= 39%; priority 3 = 61%
D. priority 0= 50%; priority 3= 50%
Correct Answer: C
Explanation/Reference:
The Priority Group BW Table provides a recommended bandwidth "weight" to be specified for each priority group. A weight of zero indicates that the port does not expect to receive data on the corresponding priority group. The recommended proportion of bandwidth allocated to individual priority group is the proportion of that group’s weight divided by the total weight of all priority groups that have frames available for transmission.
