  1. No session will be established with the current figure. For the LDP session to mount peer needs a route to the router-id. R1 fa0/1 (10.10.10.9/30) R2 fa0/0 (10.10.10.2/30) > Different IP subnet
    R1 fa0/0 (10.10.10.1/30) R3 fa0/0 (10.10.10.10/30) > Different IP subnet.
Hence no session will be established.

If the figure is changed to
    R1 fa0/0 (10.10.10.9/30) R2 fa0/0 (10.10.10.2/30) > Different IP subnet
    R1 fa0/1 (10.10.10.1/30) R3 fa0/0 (10.10.10.10/30) > Different IP subnet.
R3 & R1 will establish a session since router is updating RID to fa0/1. R2 won’t have a route to 10.10.10.9 unless running a routing protocol, hence won’t be able to establish the session.

  2. Answer: A

Explanation: for the LDP session to mount peer need a route to the router-id, since the middle router “R1” is forcing to F0/1 and no IGP seems to be in place the only session would be between the leftmost and the middle one (R1 and R3)
