D for sure
As per this test site
https://exampirate.com/which-statement-best-describes-the-sprint-backlog-as-outcome-of-the-sprint-planning
even the teacher from whom I had a 2 day course Scrum master says the correct answer is D
The correct answer is: It is the develpoment team’s plan for the sprint.
The sprint backlog as OUTCOME of the sprint planning is composed by the sprint goal + plan + PBI selected.
Taken from the scrum guide:
“The Sprint Backlog is a plan by and for the Developers”
“the Sprint Backlog is updated throughout the Sprint as more is learned” => It can mutate.
Therefor, it is not a complete list of all work to be done in a print. It is a plan by and for the developers, composed by the sprint goal + plan + PBI selected.
A. It is a complete list of all work to be done in a Sprint. – Wrong: just enough to start the sprint and have covered the first days of the sprint
B. Every item has a designated owner. – Wrong: the whole team is owning all the items
C. Each task is estimated in hours. – Wrong: there are other ways to estimate work
D. It is the Development Team’s plan for the Sprint. – Correct: This is the answer closest to the complete Sprint Backlog definition (Why, what, how – The Sprint Goal, The selected PBIs, the plan to deliver the items)
E. It is ordered by the Product Owner. – Wrong: Developers own the Sprint Backlog
The correct answer is A.
Right as per Test : B
The Scrum Guide says “The Sprint Backlog is the set of Product Backlog items selected for the Sprint, plus a plan for delivering the product Increment and realizing the Sprint Goal.” So, Sprint Backlog is items + plan.
Another definition from the Scrum Guide: “The Sprint Backlog is a forecast by the Development Team about what functionality will be in the next Increment and the work needed to deliver that functionality into a “Done” Increment.” So, it is a forecast about functionality and work.
The suggested answers do not contain the full definition of the Sprint Backlog. A and D contain only a half of every definition (work without functionality and plan without items).
Both A and D answers are equal and are not the best option. It looks like the question could be improved. – Mikhail

Correct answers is D, as Scrum Guide 2020 mentioned: “The Sprint Backlog is a plan by and for the Developers”
I also answered D. But then I realized that is A. There is not a “PLAN”. The Backlog is a list of task but not the way of how and when they are to be done. And, as someone have already pointed, it is complete (although not definive) at this moment.
“The Sprint Backlog is a plan by and for the developers”: it has to be D.
“The Sprint Backlog is updated throughout the Sprint as more is learned”: it cannot be A.
It is A. If you don’t believe you can finish all the work planed, you don’t believe and commit to the Sprint Backlog. Answer D is a very weak commitment.
It should be D, completely agree with Paul.
It should be D, as Paul explained
Questin is about the OUTCOME. Outcome of the Sprint Planning is COMPLETE (for that time) Sprint Backlog.
But, as Paul noticed, it can be updated later throughout the Sprint.
A makes no sense! Agreed with D
Needs to be D, not A, in my opinion, as the Scrum guide clearly states “Consequently, the Sprint Backlog is updated throughout the Sprint as more is learned”, i.e., as outcome of the Sprint Planning it is not necessarily complete.
