yep, it would depend on the others choices
but using a static route means that the admin knows for sure how the packet will be routed and not “hope” that dynamic routing will use the path he wants the packet to go through, in that sense it’s more secure since malicious advertisement won’t interfere but we’d need context here
Staticroutes are more secure since they won’t advertise their information like dynamic routes do.
The staticroute assumes that the route is already aviable without any acknowledgement

Can u please give the whole possible answers ? I don’t understand why a static route is more secure than an dynamic route ?
Because static routes do not need routing update packets which can be captured and information about topology can be gathered. (: hope that`s help
