  1. D is the correct answer. Hardware Proxy (a.k.a.) Spine Proxy (a.k.a.) zero-penalty forwarding is the option where the Leaf sends the Layer2 unknown unicast packet to the Spine in order for it to look in the COOP DB for the destination MAC. If it cannot find it, the spine drops the packet. The other option is flood in which the Leaf will drop the packet if destination MAC is not found.
