Organizational Unit Targeting
An Organizational Unit targeting item allows a preference item to be applied to computers or users only if the user or computer is a member of the organizational unit (OU) specified in the targeting item. If Is Not is selected, it allows the preference item to be applied only if the user or computer is a not member of the OU specified in the targeting item.
Under Computer Configuration, expand Policies, and then expand Software Settings.
After that you use Item-Level targeting for SalesOU OU, which includes the requested users.
So Computer Configuration–> Policies–> Software Setting is correct
Bonna is right, GPO1 is determined to be linked to the Sales OU. Sales has users, so you use User Polices.

There are no SalesOU computers, all computers are in computers containers
You need to make SalesApp available to only the sales department users, so you need to do your software distribution under users configuration
You are blind? The answer is saying to use the users GPO. Where did you see Computer GPO?
Will you are right, under Computer Configuration, expand Policies, and then expand Software Settings.
Is anyone know is this ture?
I saw the other version says “in GPO1, add a package to computer etc..” in step 3.
Can someone explaing ?
