dsamain.exe exposes Active Directory data that is stored in a snapshot or backup (by Windows Server backup or ntdsutil snapshot) as a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server.
Dsamain.exe is a command-line tool that is built into Windows Server since 2008, and it is also available at 2012 and 2016. It is available if you have the Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) server role installed.
