Which two actions correct the problem?

Users on your network report fast busy signals when they attempt to place calls.
While troubleshooting, you verify that codecs are configured correctly and determine that the network carries up to 200 concurrent calls different times of the day.
Which two actions correct the problem? (Choose Two)
A. Add more Cisco Unified Communications Manager to cluster
B. Add more DSPs to the NM-HD
C. Increase the number of sessions to the maximum allowed by system resources
D. Implement an SRST-CME gateway to improve resource allocation
E. Add a cisco catalyst switch to the environment to increase port density.

  1. From page 302 of https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/collab12/collab12.pdf

‘The DSP resources for Unified Communications solutions are provided by NM-HD, NM-HDV, and PVDM modules. NM-HD and NM-HDV2 modules are supported on Cisco ISR G1 and G2 Series platforms.’

I would go with B and C. After ‘B. Add more DSPs to the NM-HD’, it is naturally do ‘C. Increase the number of sessions to the maximum allowed by system resources’.

I am confident BC are correct answers.

    1. so if you add more DSP on the router then you need to increase maximum session in the configuration on the router,
if B is correct then C is also

  2. It says that “codecs are configured correctly”, means max sessions are configured.
    I think is B, F

  3. I think the question is not rigth as we need to know what are the disconnect cause… could be “Resources not available” related to DSPs or could be “No channel available”… knowing that we will know if need to add more PRI´s or more DSP´s…

    Anyway… if i have to choose i would go with: B, C
