  1. Is this a valid 300-070 question? CIPTV1 deals with single site deployments. This would be a valid CIPTV2 (300-075) question

  2. Answer: A-D.
It is necessary to modify Call-Routing: create a route list that includes a route group that contains all configured inter-cluster trunks, in order of preference. This route list should be the destination of the route pattern that is responsible for inter-cluster call routing

    1. searching some documentation about this question I found this :

Inter Cluster Trunk using H.323 Gateway
Using an ICT would look like this.

      CUCM Cluster A —- ICT —- CUCM Cluster B

Cluster A would point to an IP address of a CUCM server in Cluster B. Cluster B would poitn to an IP address of a CUCM server in Cluster A.

Using an H323 gateway between the two clusters like this.

      CUCM Cluster A —— H323 gateway —— CUCM Cluster B

CUCM Cluster A points to the H323 gateway’s IP address.

CUCM Cluster B points to the H323 gateway’s IP address.

The H323 gateway contains dial-peers to point to the IP addresses of CUCM cluster A and CUCM cluster B.

so I think that answer C & D are correct.

        1. I agree, A and D. The question only specifies the protocol, not the use of an H323 gateway. In which case, one would have to assume ICT would be used. Although it requires much more administrative overhead. This would entail an ICT H323 trunk and associated RP. The use of an H323 gateway would negate the requirement of an H323 trunk.
