  1. The Region settings tell the video call which codec/how much bandwidth to use. The Location setting is used for CAC (Call Admission Control). It indicates how much total bandwidth can be used for video calls between devices in different locations therefore limiting the number of video calls to ensure call quality.

  2. Rule of Thumb: Regions are how much bandwidth each call is going to use, and Locations are how much bandwidth is allowed between locations.

  3. Again many dumps get this wrong, but this answer is correct. Regions sets the maximum bit rate between locations. Locations is a CAC solution. Know the difference between Regions and Locations as the 300-075 will ask a number of questions to probe your understanding of the difference. CAC= Gatekeeper or Locations. Also note that a Gatekeeper can CAC but no AAR!
