A : No edge cluster = No SR
C: While an SR component for the Tier-1 Gateway is instantiated on the Edge Nodes when it is configured with DNAT, Edge firewall, or a load balancer.
It’s C&D Correct.
Edge Cluster need Edge node. Not SR
I believe the correct answers are A and D.
an edge cluster is mandatory for a TIER-0 Gateway to exist, not necessarily an SR.. but I believe it’s referencing Tier-0.
and Edge transport nodes are required for SR to be created ( the functionalities are only provided on an Edge transport node.
A & D. All others do not make sense or are incorrect
B & E are not the answer!!
CD appears to be the correct answer, anyone have any thoughts?

agree!
Service Router :
Provides north-south routing functionality
Provides routing and centralized services, such as NAT, load balancing, and so on
Created only on NSX Edge nodes that are part of an edge cluster
Agreed @NOS – C and D appear to be correct, based on the link you provided.
“A” does sound correct but the answer “Edge cluster is mandatory for SR to be created” is a bit confusing. I agree with Anon1235’s response that it seems to be referencing Tier-0, BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT THE ANSWER STATES. This i feel is a curveball/tricky answer if it’s indeed on the exam.
C & D are more logical/accurate statements
