  1. Thanks Scott.. you are right.. CD are correct. Raid 5 Erasure coding needs minimum 4 nodes for FTT1.

    For RAID-1, the formula for determining the min number of nodes is 2n + 1, where n is FTT. For FTT=2, RAID-1 requires 5 nodes. So, the best you can do with 4 nodes is FTT=1.

    RAID-5 requires 4, and RAID-6 requires 6.
