What are two requirements to deploy VMware Site Recovery Manager? (Choose two.)
A. vCenter Server installed at the protected site and at the recovery site
B. Identical storage at the protected site and at the recovery site
C. host-based replication through vSphere Replication or preconfigured array-based replication
D. identical vCenter Server versions installed at the protected site and at the recovery site
E. identical ESXi versions installed at the protected site and at the recovery site
It ask requirements for deploy SRM.
You can deploy SRM without replica preconfigured!
Correct is A and D
I think the answer should be A,D
For D, you can check below reference. Page 10
vCenter Server and Platform Services Controller Must be the same version on both sites. The
Site Recovery Manager version must be compatible with the
vCenter Server and Platform Services Controller version.

For C, these are two types not two requirements
Re: Marin – I’d normally agree, but there’s absolutely nothing mentioned on VMware’s documentation saying that host-based or array-based replication is a requirement to initially deploy SRM. The worse thing is, you’ll need to do some storage replication as you really get things going, but that’s after the initial deployment. AND even worse than that, earlier versions of SRM require the same version of vCenter, but the later versions (8.1 and up) do NOT require the same versions of vCenter.
I’m truly hoping the actual exam has better details or perhaps better answer options because this is as it is stated, is terrible.
I would go with A and C.
