Note that this question requires that the physical reel (PV) be removed from the reel group (VG), not to remove an entire reel group!
The “vgreduce” (/sbin/vgreduce) command can reduce the size of the logical scroll by removing the physical reel from the reel group. If you want to remove the logical scroll, use the “vgremove” command. If you want to expand the size of the logical scroll, use the “vgextend” command.
