Scenario: A Citrix Administrator is planning to update a Machine Catalog for the first time. The Machine Catalog was created with Machine Creation Services (MCS).
What happens to the identity disk after the update?

B
The Answer is: A
In this reference link:
https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/tech-zone/design/reference-architectures/image-management.html
Look under: MCS High-level VM and Disk Architecture
When changes are made to the Master VM in MCS, each storage repository will get one full snapshot of the master VM image, which is read-only and shared across the VMs. A unique identity disk (16MB) for VM identity will also be created. The Delivery Controller creates the identity disks for each VM.
the reference link
https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/tech-zone/design/reference-architectures/image-management.html
does not contain that context anymore. The identity disk get created, but not mentioned in context to Golden image updates.
B,
search around and no details and checked the real system, the only thing for sure is the same size
