  1. From Page 54 of CIPTV2 book:

    AAR is configured for calls to and from IP phones within the same cluster. Calls to a different cluster over a SIP or H.323 trunk do not use AAR. They are configured to fail over to the PSTN with CAC by configuring route groups and route lists with path selection within the route pattern.

    yeah, A is the answer. C is for distributed call processing scenario.

  2. I agree with Ryan. On page 430 in the CIPTV2 book it says “Automated alternate routing. Used to reroute calls over a traditional PSTN network if bandwidth is not available, as governed by CAC.”

  3. I believe this should be A. The whole point of AAR is to re-route the calls if CAC is prohibiting on your primary call path.
