HP VSA is an established/old product(7+ years) with a good track record for stability, VMware vSAN is just pushing 2 years on the market; advantage HP VSA
HP VSA uses background tiering instead of caching to manage where data is stored, different applications perhaps but i prefer it the HP VSA way; more advantage HP VSA.
VMware has once again gone completely NUTS with pricing! VMware vSAN is WAAAAY to expensive, you pay for the VMware name and for the “simplicity” of a single administration point (vCenter).
Conclusion; HP VSA wins on knockout! Holy crap VMware, it’s time to stop smoking whatever you’re smoking and wake up!
