  1. Definitely, D don’t have the destination and priority fool you the first thing the device will look at is the closest destination address. In this case, is the 172.20.168.0/24 which will take precedence over all the other variables

    1. I’ve tested it.
      WAN1 = Distance-10, Priority-10
      WAN2 = Distance-5, Priority-20

      and checked on Monitor>Routing Monitor
      my LAN uses WAN2 as default gateway.
      So Distance precedence over Priority.

    Distance takes precedence over priority.
    If multiple routes to the same destination have the same priority but different distances, the route with the lowest distance is used.
    If multiple routes to the same destination have the same distance but different priorities, the route with the lowest priority is used.
    If multiple routes to the same destination have different distances and different priorities, the route with the lowest distance is always used even if it has the highest priority.
