    Do Not Compress;
    – Data control files
    – Files belonging to the TEMPORARY tablespaces
    – Files belonging to the SYSTEM or STSAUX tablespaces

    Good Candidates for compression:
    – Archive Logs
    – Read-only tablespaces
    – Infrequently accessed table partitions
    – Infrequently accessed data files
    – Unstructured data stored in database tables.

    Should be B & C
