A customer has two sub-organizations with different domains with separate AD servers. Both Domain Controllers and Cloud Connector are in the same subnet. The first sub-organization is currently set up to manage devices in Workspace One UEM using Cloud Connector and a VMware Identity Manager.

  1. Just because the DCs are in the same subnet doesn’t mean they have a trust relationship, they said they are two separate domains. So you can’t use one vIDM connector for two domains. So A, D are incorrect. You would deploy a new cloud connector server but can use an existing tenant (which can support two domains). So correct answer is C.

  2. Correct is D – since both domains controllers are in the same subnet meaning they have a trust relationship. No need for additional cloud connector or Vidm tenant. Use the same ACC to connect to the 2nd AD/LDAP
