  1. This answer I believe should be C. because When simply deleting data from a LUN, it disappears from the logical layer but still exists on the underlying hardware layer.

    So it should be wiped to avoid data remnants — I’m not really sure what data be encrypted has to do in the discussion of data wiping or removal. That’ doesn’t seem to be the question
