An engineer wants to have a resilient access layer in data center so that switches on the access layer have separate physical connections to a pair of redundant distribution switches. Which technology achieves this goals?
A. PaGP
B. LACP
C. VSL
D. EVPC
E. VSS
F. ECMP
Probably VSS (E) at the distribution layer. The distribution switches would logically bundle into a single device, thus adding uplink resilience and availability.
My 2 cents.
It could not be eVPC, because we are talking about redundant connections for access switches, not for end servers. So it should be vPC, but we have no such an option here.
The answer to this is D. EVPC. Enhanced VPC is used in data centers (typically with Nexus 5000s). Source: https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/mkt_ops_guides/513_n1_1/n5k_enhanced_vpc.html
