Scenario: A Citrix Administrator is configuring load balancing on a Citrix ADC appliance for the company web servers. The administrator needs to create a custom monitor that will look for a specific keyword response from the website and will be used to keep the services in an UP state.
Which type of monitor can the administrator create to accomplish this scenario?
A. A HTTP-ECV monitor with the keyword in the Special Parameters ‘ Receive String field.
B. An UDP-ECV monitor with the keyword in the Special Parameters ‘ Receive String field.
C. A TCP monitor with the keyword in the Special Parameters ‘ Response Codes field.
D. A HTTP monitor with the keyword in the Special Parameters ‘ Response Codes field.
without a doubt the answer is A
specific keyword is not the same thing as a response code.
Agreed A

HTTP and HTTPS monitors check if the web server is up and running, and it returns HTTP message 200 OK.
HTTP-ECV and HTTPS-ECV monitors check if web server is up and running by not only checking HTTP return code but also if the requested content is present on the web server.
repeated question, but I continue with the same doubt, A or D lol
This is the same question 11
I believe its D

A
For HTTP, TCP and UDP services, there are predefined monitors capable of Extended Content Verification (ECV). Such monitors are used when it is not enough to see that a TCP connection was successful; rather a particular type of request is generated and specific message in response is looked for to validate that service is functioning as expected. For these monitors, a request string would be configured along with an expected reply string to be received. If the reply string received by the Citrix NetScaler monitor matches, then the service is up.
I think is D. IS asking just for keyword to response (like 501) not for a tuned query string and response witch is done with -ecv monitors..
