  1. so is it C, or both C and E????????

“Many scripting languages, such as Perl, use the # character to indicate the beginning of a comment line that should be ignored by the interpreter. The shebang is a special exception to this rule.” -output from a random google search.

Im leaning towards just C (and only C), why does this stupid question say to choose two.
Also, the test dump that I originally got this question from, has it as B and C (which is most likely wrong).

Your welcome; Im glad I can share my confusion with you.

    Happy studying!

    1. I think JOhn explains it right, get ready for “stupid” questions, they will be like this on the real test 😉

  2. C and E,
the followed phrase is from wikipedia “Shebang (Unix)”
“The shebang line is usually ignored by the interpreter, because the “#” character is a comment marker in many scripting languages; some language interpreters that do not use the hash mark to begin comments still may ignore the shebang line in recognition of its purpose.”
