Who is ultimate responsible for the Product Backlog item estimates?

1. There is no Project Owner role in Scrum so how could this be correct answer?

   I would appreciate anybody providing some light and justification for this answer.

   The right answer is : A
   The Development Team is responsible for all estimates. The Product Owner may influence the Development Team by helping it understand and select trade-offs, but the people who will perform the work make the final estimate.
