  1. C is actually correct. If you think about it Biba & Bell Lapadula both use MAC, The thing they both have in common is that they both limit AVAILABILITY.

  3. MAC is system-enforced access control based on a subject’s clearance and an object’s labels. A subject may access an object only if the subject’s clearance is equal to or greater than the object’s label. Subjects cannot share objects with other subjects who lack the proper clearance, or “write down” objects to a lower classification level (such as from top-secret to secret).

MAC SYSTEMS ARE USUALLY FOCUSED ON PRESERVING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA.

How come you have so many of these answers wrong? How can we possibly trust purchasing ANY of your products when you have so many problems with what you’ve posted here?

  5. I think it’s the security architect who uses MAC to protect the data, so the priority is that the data needs to be available, otherwise there’s no MAC without data, right?

  6. Here’s an excerpt from Conrad’s CISSP Study Guide, 2nd Edition:

“MAC systems are usually focused on preserving the confidentiality of data.”

I think it’s no doubt the answer is A – Confidentiality
