  1. I believe C is the correct answer. Information owner (NIST term) and data owner (ISC2 term) are synonymous. According to CISSP Official Study Guide, 7th Edition, p. 174, “The data owner is the person who has ultimate organizational responsibility for data.”

    As for system owners, the Study Guide states “The system owner is the person who owns the system that processes sensitive data” and “is responsible for ensuring that data processed on the system remains secure.”
