  1. The node controller shelf is the main shelf running redundant control cards (2x MS-ISC-100T) which run the multishelf functions. Each subtending shelf controller (SSC) must also be configured with at least one control card (1x MS-ISC-100T). You connect the ECU MSM ports between the node controller shelf and the subtending shelf controllers (or alternatively, you can use a pizza-box switch, e.g. Cat2960/3650/etc.)
