“unable to find… in printers list” is the keyword. If the printer profile is not visible, you must map or “setup” the printer FIRST.
This is dealing with a networked printer, there is no guarantee that you would be in the vicinity of it. So mapping would be the best bet.
I work at a place that has hundreds of printers, trust me, you are not trying to get up and locate them if you dont have to.
What does it mean to map the printer? Why is it wrong to check to see if the printer is turned on?
It is easier to see if it can be add/map it instead of going to the other room and see if it is turned on then come back .. idk it is stupid!
